Which products are eligible for rebates?

The Indiana Michigan Power Marketplace (I&M Marketplace) offers instantly rebated Smart thermostats, LED lighting, water-saving devices and advanced power strips. The eligible products and rebate amounts are subject to change at any time at the sole discretion of Indiana Michigan Power.

Customers are eligible for some or all of the rebated products pending successful completion of the I&M Marketplace online eligibility. Not all customers are eligible for all product rebates.  Eligibility is based upon a review of past participation in other Indiana Michigan Power rebate programs.

The rebates are applied instantly at I&M Marketplace checkout and no application is required. If non-rebated products are available for purchase customers may purchase those at the retail price listed at the time of purchase.


Is there an application process for the rebates?

No, there is no application process needed for the I&M Marketplace instant rebates. Rebates are instantly applied at checkout. Eligibility is determined via the marketplace eligibility tool using your Indiana Michigan Power account number.


Why do you need to verify my account?

Account verification and eligibility is necessary to ensure rebates are available to customers with an active Indiana Michigan Power residential account.


Is there a minimum and maximum amount I can buy?

Yes, the instantly rebated products have maximum limits on the quantity you can purchase per account. They are as follows:

  • LEDs  - 20 total LEDs per year
  • Showerheads - limit of 3 every 3 years
  • Kitchen Aerators - limit of 2 per year
  • Bathroom Aerators - limit of 6 per year
  • Advanced Powerstrips - limit of 4 every 3 years
  • Smart Thermostats - limit of 2 every 2 years

Limit rules are subject to change at any time at the sole discretion of Indiana Michigan Power.

When a customer makes a purchase, who does the charge come from?

The charge on your credit card will come from AM Conservation Group (AMCG), the I&M Marketplace vendor.


How do I know if my order was received?

After your order is placed, you will be emailed an order confirmation to the email address you used when creating your I&M Marketplace account. Once your order has shipped, you will receive another email with your tracking number.


What are the shipping and handling rates?

The I&M Marketplace has free shipping and handling on orders over $25 and flat-rate shipping of $8 per order if the total is less than $25. Amounts are determined after product rebates are applied and before applicable sales taxes.


How do I know if my heating/air-conditioning equipment is compatible with a smart thermostat?

Please use the online compatibility tools from the smart thermostat manufacturer to confirm your system’s compatibility. These tools can be accessed with links from the I&M Marketplace to the thermostat manufacturer websites or directly on the manufacturer’s websites.

Can my purchases be shipped to another address other than my Indiana Michigan  Power service address?

We can only ship to your Indiana Michigan Power service address and all products purchased must be installed at the service address. We do not ship outside of the Indiana Michigan Power service territory. If you have a forwarding request at USPS, you may be charged USPS forwarding fees.


Can I enter a different billing address other than my Indiana Michigan Power service address?

The billing address used to create your I&M Marketplace account, which will match your Indiana Michigan Power service address, does not need to match the credit card billing address used to place your marketplace order.


How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Due to the highly variable shipping times the country is currently seeing, orders may take 2-3 weeks to be delivered. You will receive a shipping confirmation, with a tracking number, when your order ships.
